Hydraulic Systems Help?
Can hydraulics be used to provide locomotion for a vehicle that uses tracks (such as a tank or front end loader)? If so, how? The system would need the tracks on either side to be independant from each other so one could stop while the other moves and the vehicle could turn. Any ideas on practical, working solutions?

Why not use a hydraulic motor? These are relatively commonplace on tractors and farm equipment. You wouldn’t be able to go very fast, but it would work. And like any other hydraulic system, they will work independently if you install and valve them that way.
